Baking: A pavlova palava

Funny how palava and pavlova are such similar words.

My first mission, and a personal pudding fave: the crunchy meringue based, cream topped, fruit littered pavlova.

Mother’s Day will be all set with one of these…

Very happy with that result! Just have to wait a few hours before it can be eaten…

We also decided to make a pecan pie. With much division over how to say “pecan” involving all family members sending a voice recording of how it is meant to be said, we got to work.

It was so quickly served up and eaten that alas I have no photographic evidence… But safe to say it looked just like Mary’s…

No soggy bottoms here.
