Baking: Savoury and sweet

This weekend has seen some more baking. Loving the assistance of the trusty Kenwood Chef!

I decided I’d like to try my hand at some rolypoly bread with tasty filling…. A basic dough rolled out, spread with pesto and then topped with finely chopped olives nd sun dried tomatoes…All rolled up as a tasty flavour-filled loaf!

I like the layers, and it makes for a super savoury snack!

Whilst the dough was rising I tried out Mary Berry’s “Diggers.” Like a flat flapjack with coconut getting involved, they were supposed to be tasty biscuity treats. Mine ended up more crumbly, but who doesn’t like a handful of crumbs?!

What I’m enjoying most about this month’s project is the edible results!!

But it’s also pretty great that it’s something we can do together 🙂
